Each year over the summer months the trees shed their bark in readiness for growth and expansion...it’s part of their true nature. For us humans we are given the same opportunity, shedding the outer layers to reveal our true colours and textures...such a beautiful and natural process...but for some crazy reason we seem to have this thing of wanting to hold onto the paint, we use all our energy to stick the flaky bits back together again, being so fearful of what is underneath...and this creates so much pain.
Feel, let go, grow... May you be willing to let the outer bark peel away to reveal the real you.
Happy New Year
